ROTATING TOOLS
RECOMMENDED CUTTING CONDITIONS
a A3 is the depth of cut for the full dual insert portion at 6D1
the end of the cutting edge. 4.5D1
a Beyond the range of A3 where overlapping occurs, 3D1
there is an area where the cutting edge becomes a 1.5D1
single insert, not forming full dual insert configuration.
*D1=Cutting Edge
As such, please pay special attention to the relationship Diameter 0
between depth of cut and feed.
a In general, the edge at the border of cut tends to suffer
from damages. At large depth of cut operations,
applying the following depth of cut (t), at which the edge
is full dual insert at the border of cut, is recommended
to prevent damage to the cutting edge.
